Santiago Rusiñol pintant (Santiago Rusiñol painting) 

Cartoonist, caricaturist and graphic chronicler, who used humor to depict Barcelona society of his timehe started as an apprentice and draftsman at the side of Antoni Gaudi in the Sagrada Familia. Soon, however, he went on to work in magazines and weeklies such as "Cu-cut!" and "Esquella de la Torratxa". Illustrator of children's books, comics, children’s publications and collections of cards, he was the logo creator of TBO.

We know of his portraits of artists such as Rusiñol, Mir, Casas and Nonell. Some were exhibited in the Pinacoteca, after the Civil War, where he depicted his relationship with Els Quatre Gats and Paris.
